SUPPLIES & EQUIPMENT: LOST DOG:

his chest and tips of his toes, weighs probably 60 lbs. Red collar,
named Caesar. Lost in Lewiston area. If you have seen this dog: call
call Cole, Collin or Vicki Whaley at 778-9872. 1/4/10 RESCUE
DOGS
FOR
ADOPTION:
Simone Tharpe of Hayfork has a number of rescue dogs that were
abandoned near her
place. Some were starving and/or pregnant and may have been beaten.
Simone took them in, nursed them back to health, and has worked with
them. They are crate trained, will walk on a leash, and are friendly
with Simone.
However, some of the dogs may need some extra work and love. If you are
looking for a dog, are
experienced with dogs, and have room in your heart for a dog
that has had a rough life (before Simone), please call Simone at
530-628-5233. If you don't see a dog description that appeals to you,
please call Simone, because there are more dogs than are listed on this
page. Please see Rescue Dogs
page for profiles and photos of 6 dogs available
for adoption. I will add more dogs as profiles and photos are
sent to me. There is no fee to adopt any of these dogs,
she just wants to find loving homes for them. PLEASE spay and neuter
your pet! Simone is also looking for any rescue organization who can
take some of these dogs in. They need socialization work that she is
not trained to do. Renewed 3/10. RESCUE CATS FOR ADOPTION: FREE friendly fixed cats, wormed, with rabies shots. With the help of Trinity County Animal Control Officer, Jamie and Fred Levitan and other local folks are catching stray cats in Hayfork. Haven Humane in Redding holds monthly Feral Cat Days. For $25, feral cats are altered, tested for diseases, wormed, and given all vaccinations including rabies. They would love to find families for all the cats instead of letting them return to being feral. Currently, all cats have been adopted out, but there will be a number of young grey and white female kitties, some with 6 toes, available soon or now. More info or to sponsor a cat: Jamie 628-1087 or Fred 628-1222. PLEASE spay or neuter your pet! Save a life! TRINITY COUNTY ANIMAL SHELTER (563 Mountain View) in Weaverville has dogs & puppies and cats & kittens available for adoption. Note: Cat and dog pages are NOT very up to date, so call for cat and dog availability. If you have a specific breed or gender or personality type of dog or cat you are looking for, they can keep your name and description on file, and will call you if an animal fitting your description arrives at shelter. If you have a pet you can no longer keep, they may be able to adopt it out for you for a small fee. Shelter is located at end of Mountain View Street. Hours: MON - FRI 10am-4pm. More info: call 530-623-1370. Save
a
life!
PETFINDER.COM
has over 260,000 homeless pets: mixed breeds and purebred pets
of all ages (with
photos) waiting to be adopted from over 11,000 shelters and rescue
groups across the
country. Please choose to adopt, rather than buy! When people
decide to obtain a pet anywhere other than a shelter, it means that one
shelter animal is denied a home and faces euthanasia.
Please remember to spay and neuter! PLEASE CHOOSE TO SPAY OR NEUTER YOUR PET! The number of animals looking for homes in shelters (they are the lucky ones), plus the number that are abandoned, starving, or eaten by predators, is heartbreakingly high! Area shelters are often full and can no longer take in unwanted animals. If you think you can't afford the operation, remember that it will cost just as much (or more) to feed all those new mouths, and more, if there are complications during birth and you have to take your beloved pet in for surgery! If you can't afford to spay or neuter, call Trinity County Animal Shelter at 530-623-1370 or Haven Humane in Redding to ask about programs to help pay for spaying/neutering, especially for feral animals. If you have no luck there and still need to get a pet neutered and cannot afford it: email me. Adopt

STARBAND ELLIPTICAL SATELLITE DISH & MODEMS: 75cm Elliptical
Rx-Tx
Antenna System satellite dish. Used for both Starband satellite
internet and Dish TV (at the same time). Specs off of dish: P/N:
LN139100; Model#: NJR2544HWN; NF: 0.6. Dish was originally installed in
2001, was disconnected in January 2008 (when we switched to Com-Pair),
and was working fine when we took it down. Dish is complete including
mounting hardware. Comes with 2 long grey coaxial cables, Starband User
Guide, and Starband Instruction and Assembly Manual. Two modems also
available. Starband 360 modem includes Installation CD, WinProxy CD,
and Update Utility CD. Newer Starband 481 modem includes cable and
481/480 Pro Quick Start Installation Kit CD and Installation Guide. We
upgraded to 481 modem in January 2005 and were still using it in
January 2008, at disconnect. We had to pay a higher monthly
subscription to use 481 modem because it is designed for small
businesses
(has built in local area networking, higher through-put, etc.). Please
note that both of these modems may or may not still be in use by
Starband. Please call Starband to confirm that you can use this dish
and/or modem and avoid having to buy new equipment. Dish is about 3'
long x 2' wide, and sticks out about 4' from the wall. Item is located
in Hayfork. More info: call 530-628-4579 or email me. Updated: 3/9/10 PHOTOS! FREE: STANDUP BASS CART: Homemade box built onto a folding golf cart. Folds closed to save some space. Model D389/390. Packaging says it "replaces M, 603, SR1130(S)(W), G10,

unused, although it is a few years old, and the packaging is a bit
battered. I bought it to replace a battery in something, and it was
either the wrong battery, or it didn't fix the problem, so I
re-packaged it and out it in a drawer and forgot about it. Since this

Couple with 41-acre hobby ranch in Hayfork is looking for an occasional
house and pet sitter for the few times a year that we go out of town.
We have 1 house cat, 1 barn cat, 1 llama, 4 sheep and 5 goats
(eventually, there may be a dog, as well, as we used to have one).
There is not a lot of livestock feeding as we have large pastures and
they graze. Mostly you need to make sure they have water and are let
out and into and the barn in mornings and evenings, a little hay at
nights in the winter. Llama only needs water (hay if it's snowing).
Cats are fed twice daily, at same times that livestock are let in
and out. House-sitting is not required, but we do live outside of town,
so one would have to come by the house twice a day. This could work if
one was driving past our place, daily on the way to work. However we
don't put livestock in barn before 10pm. References and
being an animal lover required. Pay is negotiable, depending on what
we work out between us. More info: call Rachel at 530-628-4579 or email me. Renewed 3/10. top, bass fiddle, circa 1880. Dark mahogany (almost black) finish.
Tomastic steel strings. Modern steel adjustable peg with a golf ball.
Some varnish scratches on front showing the natural spruce color. If
