startled, rises to pursue. He is passing through the garden gate, on his way to his
hole. Alice is 5½" tall, and the White Rabbit is 3½" tall. In this part
of the scene, the White Rabbit is dressed in his daily suit, and carries a pocket watch,
and umbrella. Both figures are Sculpey.

tall, and the March Hare is about 4". All are in Sculpey.

conversing with the caterpillar, while the Cheshire Cat looks on, grinning. All figures
are of sculpey, painted with acrylics.
|
Tweedle Dee and
Tweedle Dum
These characters weren't in the Wonderland story, but the
museum wanted them on the scene, anyway. They are about 5" tall and are sold in
pairs.

The Card GardenerThe
figure is made of paper clay, and is of one of the original, classic
illustrations. The roses are of Sculpey. The bush and base were created by Bill
Lankford. The figure is 5½" tall, and the base is 6"x7". In the
story, the gardeners had accidentally planted white rose bushes, and were having to paint
them red, to suit the queen.

Queen of HeartsThis
is where the largest display is found, on the base of the tree scene. The Queen
stands in the pathway, pointing and shouting, "Off with her head!!", much to the
consternation of Alice and the White Rabbit, who is now in his royal finery, blowing the
trumpet. Behind the Queen, one guard (card) stands, mimicking her, while, another
guard stands by the door and hides his mirth behind his hand. Alice is holding a
flamingo under one arm (he is her mallet), while one card gardener bends backwards to be a
wicket, for the running hedgehog ball. Two other card gardeners are painting the roses, and
arguing over getting paint on each other. The Queen is about 5¾" tall, the
gardeners about 5½". All figures are Sculpey.
