She is made of Sculpey. The background, containing a small tree, flowers, and pond, was made by Bill Lankford. She is about 5" tall and the tree is about 9". The base is 6"x9". |

The Prairie Fairy, first in a series to come, is named Dusty Roads. He has a yucca pod body and hat, sculpey head and limbs, moss hair, and wings of plastic. Future Prairie Fairies include Miss Windy Daze, Miss Tor Nado, Blacky Gold, and Miss Cotton Bole. All are expressions of the Texas Panhandle. |
